Hij vraagt of er iemand bij Ter Leede is die weet wanneer deze foto is genomen en wie de spelers/coach zijn.
Aad zelf is zittend de 2e van links.

Apologies for not writing this e-mail in Dutch. I can understand it and speak it a bit. But writing it, is a bit of a challenge.My name is Richard Dannys. I’m the oldest son of Aad “Aatje” Dannys. I want to thank the Ter Leede website for posting an obituary in their News section. Our father was a tremendous athlete. And he loved Soccer and his team ‘Ter Leede’ dearly.
I don’t know all the details of his voetbal career in Holland. I can tell you that the photo posted in your report is of my Dad playing in some of the Ethnic Leagues, here in Toronto Canada. I believe he played in the Ukrainian League, for many years after he emigrated here?
I was able to find a nice Team Photo of Dad with one of his ‘Ter Leede’ teams. I’m attaching the image file to this e-mail in the hopes that you can use it. And possibly, identify the players and coach featured in the photo? Perhaps you have League historians that can also identify the year this was taken?

Deze week bereikte ons het droeve nieuws van het overlijden van Adrian (Aad) Dannys.
Aatje, zoals hij vanwege zijn lengte werd genoemd, speelde  eind jaren veertig/begin jaren vijftig in Ter Leede 1.
Hij was samen met clubcoryfeeën als Gerrit van Harskamp en de gebroeders Moolenaar lid van het legendarische kampioenteam uit 1951.
Volgens kenners was linksbuiten Dannys één van de meest technische spelers die Ter Leede ooit heeft gekend.
In het midden van de jaren 50 emigreerde Aad naar Canada, alwaar hij op 87-jarige leeftijd is overleden.
Wij wensen zijn naasten alle sterkte toe.
